Life on Standby

"I don't think people are meant to be by themselves, that's why, if you actually find someone you care about... it's important to let go of the little things - even if you can't let go all the way. Because nothing sucks more than feeling all alone... no matter how many people are around you"

I have become, comfortably numb

Once alcoholism sets in, it's a hard 'habit' to get rid of - it's not so much the withdrawal symptoms 'cos each time you kick it, they seem to be easier to handle as you know exactly what is coming, it's that as soon as the slightest thing goes wrong, pisses you off, mildly irritates you, your first reaction is to have a drink... which leads to another... which leads to 3 weeks of non sobriety.

It's easy to stop caring about your own health, it's easy to stop caring about what people think of you or how you come across with people, it's easy to stop caring...
