'Cos Mr Oogie Boogie is the meanest guy around!
Went to see my old hockey team play today. It was good to catch up with the guys and have a chat with them but it was painful to see them play a game that it it wasn't for personal health, I should still be playing. They lost 10-0 which was pretty bad... first time playing this team and they were all excellent skaters and positionally brilliant - a team to watch out for methinks!
No progress in garden ( sorry Yard :-p ) lately due to quite bad weather, it's strange the way it took a turn all of a sudden - I blame the French..
The whole school closure debacle took another turn today.... as damn near 500 people formed a procession (is that even a phrase??) through the whole area as a protest. I assume it was parents and patrons of the school
I had to surreptisiously take this picture as in this current climate of peadophilia scaremongering, it's considered a 'sin' to take pictures of youth / children without consent - mad country I live in!Been on a weird retro kick lately - my fave movie ever!
If you've never seen it, I recommend a watch!
Anybody any ideas of killing aphids off - they are killing one of my conifers :'(

use some soapy water and spray the plant down with it.
Spot test the soap on the plant for 48 hours before starting full treatment.
Will kill aphids and most other soft bodied insects.

Thanks man, will give that a go - to be honest, i've nothing to lose as it is looking pretty dire anyways... might have to dig them out and start again if this doesn't work :'(
Im Wondering how the aphid tratment went?
