Life on Standby

"I don't think people are meant to be by themselves, that's why, if you actually find someone you care about... it's important to let go of the little things - even if you can't let go all the way. Because nothing sucks more than feeling all alone... no matter how many people are around you"

The clock is ticking as i'm killing time

The Madness concert was tremendous. Not as full as the last time I went to see them but still a good gig. I like the fact that there was quite a few of the younger generation there, the age difference went from 5 to 60!

Christmas was better than last year. I spent Christmas Day at my sisters doing music quiz's and whatnot, was a good day. The night I spent in the club with some friends. Boxing day my niece invited me to hers for tea. What a difference a year makes! Santa brought me quite a lot of things, including an electric can opener which will be a blessing as my hands are working less and less these days. I may have to bite the bullet and visit my GP... That was the present that actually brought the biggest smile to my face because it just showed that my sister had thought about me when selecting something and not just picked up a deoderant set or a T-Shirt... My nephew, Anthony (he's my fave, although I know it's wrong to have a favourite) has paid for me and him to go to Lanzarote for a fortnight, all inclusive... he said that after all I had done for him and his brother, this doesn't even go part of the way to re-paying me :-)

This was taken in February last year when we went to Magalluf. He's gone a lot more Emo since this was took :-D

Bumped into Vicky over the weekend. Did everything I could to avoid her and not to talk to her.

Had a nightmare of a night out yesterday. Kev and his son Mark are both the same, they both basically get paranoid as soon as alcohol has passed their lips... thing is, neither of them can handle themselves... Last night I was holding 2 blokes and 1 girl back from having a go at them!

Dreading New Years Eve... got no plans...

The heating in my flat decided to stop working on Christmas Eve so it's as cold as shittery in here!

Got my Bathroom decorated and the Hallway is half done. Also got a new cream leather 3 piece suite. My flat looks a thousand percent better, it's almost a shame that I should be moving soon!

I have been thinking about this move more and more and not only do I want to build a decking area and barbecue in the garden, I want to have a greenhouse - I would like to get into experimenting with food more and having a regular supply of vegetables would be great...

I suppose i'm just hoping for a fresh start in 2007...
