She's the perfect hue to shade your dirty secret...

Been uber busy lately decorating. Because I had it half done and had visits from 2 seperate young ladies I decided to work on and on. Firstly, better quality pictures of exactly how bad the walls were.

And now the finished room, or should I say nearly finished. I have two new black wrought iron decorative curtain poles, curtains and tie backs to fit. I bought the wrong size for the front window so need to get a patch piece :-S

And thirdly, a close up of my media system, just because it's prettyful. The TV and 360 were a treat for cutting down on my alcohol intake.

I still need to wire teh surround sound kit up. Tomorrow is a busy shopping day. I need speaker wire to stretch round the room and quadrant to trace all the wires under the laminate flooring. I want this room done properly. I picked the same colours that I re-decorated my old flat in because I think it makes for a really warm room.

Christmas was so so, I was quite poorly with some weird ear infection going on (still sort of is). I couldn't hear a thing and it knocked my balance to hell. Still, got a load of nice pressies and (hopefully) gave some.

New Years Eve... With my ear still being funny I decided on a night in my house just playing Xbox - that and another reason. Since 23:57 last night, not one single drop of alcohol has passed my lips! Yes folks, I am now 26 hours sober. No withdrawal symptoms because I did it gradually. That was my New Year resolution along with eating healthy and getting fitter than I am. All things I had been promising myself for the past year - had a good start though.

Stacie has been round a couple of times and i've took her out a couple. She is still with her boyfriend and even though I like her a lot, i'm happy for her 'happiness?'

This guy is a genius. I have both his DVD's :-p
