Life on Standby

"I don't think people are meant to be by themselves, that's why, if you actually find someone you care about... it's important to let go of the little things - even if you can't let go all the way. Because nothing sucks more than feeling all alone... no matter how many people are around you"

this city is haunted, there's no hope, left for these souls

A very good friend of mine in the deepest coldest parts of Canada, Ancaster if I remember correctly. Love the photo, it's just so... Fordy!!

Had my first session of counselling, well, it was more like an initial assessment. Ann, the counseller, was very easy to talk to (as I suppose they have to be) and wants to see me on a weekly basis. She warned me not to stop drinking but to try and just get it under control, tame the beast as it were.

I've been drinking more since I admitted it all.

Still got no income, car hasn't been sorted, laptop still not sorted.

Got a new guitarist, second guitarist sorry, for band. Kris is 23 and one of the most natural and talented kids i've ever had the privelige to play alongside. On a bum note, Rob, our lead guitarist has cancelled out of todays rehearsals due to a tummy bug. I'm just hoping he isn't pulling a 'Graeme' and looking for a way out. Him and Kris make an outstanding guitar duo and I can see this band going far. I think, to be honest, if Rob wasn't gonna stick around, he would say though as he is a pretty stand up guy. We sat talking until stupid o clock this morning about the band and different music. At one point he said 'Gav, you are seriously one of the best and most adaptive vocalists I have ever worked with.' and to get a compliment like that from a guitarist like him i was... well, I still am, on a major high. This is Rob by the way, he is very eccentric and thespiany!!

But I think thats quite easy to see...

The front runners for names are Run Riot, Soundhouse and Cardinal Sin. We decided on Accidental Angels only to find another band already has it - Bastards!
