Life on Standby

"I don't think people are meant to be by themselves, that's why, if you actually find someone you care about... it's important to let go of the little things - even if you can't let go all the way. Because nothing sucks more than feeling all alone... no matter how many people are around you"

You are a sell out, but you couldn't even do that right

Oooh, forgot to mention. Stacie sent me a text message the other night asking me to go on msn. After an hour of talking and stuff she changed her display name to 'love is blind you need a push' - she kept pushing me to find out who I was wanting to be with and all I can assume after all the hints I had given her is that she seriously doesn't think like a normal person. I wanted to tell her that I wanted to take her out somewhere... but I still feel like she is doing her old thing and just using me for somewhere to stay if she leaves her boyfriend...

Once a whore you're nothing more, i'm sorry, that'll never change

Spent the last couple of days doing silly jobs around the house. Dug up roots in the garden, had a major clean up etc etc When I was pulling some roots up a frog jumped out (My next door neighbour said there is loads, this is the first I have seen) and I poo'd my panties... I ran screaming like a character from a Scooby Doo cartoon!!!!! Then chilled, took a sip of vodka and took a photo...

Had a decent night down the town last night after going up the club. I kinda keep getting the impression that a certain young (21) female that I know is interested in me - so i'm probably wrong, I usually am!!

Woohoo, finally got my multigym all set up. The biggest job was the cabling cos if it's wrong, it just don't work. My office / gym area is now complete - I have cross trainer for aerobic stuff, weight bench with a good stack for heavy lifting and Multigym for all purpose use... now all I need is to stop drinking from dawn 'til dusk and hit the mofo like a beyotch... WORD!

Music has always been my passion, singing and writing and yet I have never had confidence in either. Last band rehearsal was Thursday and John, our drummer, was working away so we basically did our set list accousticly [sic] and surprisingly, well to me at least, it sounded well. The lead guitarist Rob played an acoustic, rythmn guitarist Graham played his normal guitar through the tiniest amp ever with an acoustic modeller on his pedal and bass player Gary played at the ,ost minimal volume his amp would allow. I sang with no mic and we worked on backing vocals and arrangements of the songs. I have a really good feeling about this band. We've been offered quite a few gigs, one playing at my local no less for a fund raising event for the clubs 50th anniversary... it's gonna be a sell out... scary!!!

My new love - I so want to meet her... awesome voice live as well! What can I say, redheads ROOL - for proof check out Carrie and Kathryn

Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change

Lanzarote!!! Wow, i've never visited such a beautiful place in my entire life. Costa Teguise, where we stayed, is a purpose built resort specifically for the tourism industry and they aren't allowed to build over a certain height so as not to spoil the look - they also can't build in a certain style (was told this by Susannah, the nicest barmaid ever in our apartments - she was a doll!). We got up to quite a bit of mischief, including meeting 2 Scottish girls, Lauren and Katrina, majorly abusing the French for being... well, for being French :-D (not meant in a rascist way, we jusy overheard one of the French dudes spinning lines about being Johnny Depps manager so we just extracted the Oui Oui for the week they were there :-D ), invading another hotels pool, abusing our pool at 4 in the morning... just teenage boy stuff really (said the 36 year old). Hehe!!

We made friends with pigeons....

We had to be superheroes for a night, I was Captain Underpants, defender of all that is lacey...

... and Anth was my sidekick, Y-Fronts Girl...

This was the beach we swam on practically everyday, but around sunset...

And by daytime.... the blot you can see is Anth. The water was about 20 foot deep there and you could still see the bottom!!

And by daytime on the one stormy day we had (weather was 35 degrees, there was just a bit of wind!)

I decided, when Anth was doing his hair(???) that as a 19 year old who hasn't felt shaving foam, he was missing out... so I emptied a full tin and threw it at his face!!!!

All in all it was the best holiday I have ever had, even despite the fact that...

... 6 days before we went, someone thought it would be amazingly funny to kick the wing mirror off my car. The wing mirror itself wasn't so much the problem, it's the fact that there is paint damage to the drivers side door, the electric window's rail mechanism is bent where they tried to put their foot through the window (I wish they had succeeded, might have severed a vital artery!) and the electric mirror mechanism is damaged... total value of repairs? Looking at about £500. I have been told by 2 different people, unconnected people a name, the same name...

The cutting down on alcohol hasn't gone well at all, in fact I think it has got worse. I'm getting to the point now that I need to seek help... it's just making that first move!

Finally got my Multigym here, all set up and ready to go. It took me damn near two weeks to set it up! Pfft, they make it look easy in the brochures!!! The first thing one of my mates who want's me to help him train did... bench press, full extension then DROP the bar back - he nearly tore both his arms out of the sockets!! Damn n00bies :-S

Not had the weather to do anything in the garden other than spend some time trying to kill weeds... i'm surprisingly enjoying gardening. Need to get the garden, bathroom and kitcen ready for end of July for my housewarming and Anth's birthday.
